Folkestone Academy is looking for an exceptional Pastoral and Learning Leader to join our team. This is a permanent position and would suit a graduate considering teacher training in the future / or an individual with pastoral experience.

The successful candidate will:-

  • Contribute towards the Academy's and Trust's vision and ethos
  • Enjoy completing their work in a professional and positive manner, relish solving problems and take pride in helping people
  • Have a genuine passion and belief in the potential of every pupil
  • Have strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrate honesty and integrity
  • Be highly motivated and have a flexible approach towards work and working hours
  • Have knowledge of and experience of working with external agencies and voluntary groups is desirable
  • Candidates will have either: a strong academic track record to degree level/suitable qualifications /experience in pastoral care.
