Advert

Wouldham All Saints is looking to recruit a new member of our team to support an individual child with specific and complex needs. The role involves looking after the close support and enabling effective learning for one child whilst being able to help others within the class as well. There will also be some general teaching assistant duties to complete as well.

There are specific interventions and support strategies to follow as well as working within small groups and supporting within the whole class environment.

This will be a challenging role and requires a very patient, calm and caring character. Previous experience of working with children with SEND would be very helpful.

Our school is committed to safeguarding all of our children to the highest level possible and the successful candidate is expected to have an established and well developed understanding of all safeguarding matters in educational settings.

Enhanced clearance checks will be carried out.

The post will be temporary whilst ever the individual child is on our school roll. This means that should the child transfer elsewhere then the post will terminate, although there may well be opportunity to transfer to other support roles should the finance be available to sustain this.

Initially, the post will be within Year 1 and so experience of Early Years and KS1 would be advantageous.

Wouldham All Saints is a large, recently built primary school with excellent facilities and a very welcoming team. If successful, you will be well supported by a committed team and given access to high quality training and development.
