PRIMARY TEACHING ASSISTANT REQUIRED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE FOR WHOLE CLASS PROVISION

Monday – Friday, 8.30 a.m. – 3.00 p.m.

30 hours per week, Term Time Only

As a Primary TA you will:

Be class based during the morning and in the afternoons you will be expected to do a variety of provisions – phonics, speech and language, reading, comprehension, precision, clever hands etc.
Be expected to maintain accurate records.
Be on duty at break time and lunch time throughout the day.
Have opportunities to support clubs and extended day activities if desired.
Work 1:1 with pupils

To be successful in this role you will have:

Understanding of children with SEND issues.
Experience of moving children forward.
Experience supporting in Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
An understanding of assessment at relevant levels e.g. SATS
Experience in the use of Too simple or similar app based assessment
The ability to be flexible to the needs of the school
The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
First Aid qualification (not essential but desirable).
