Herne Bay High School are seeking an energetic and motivated 6th Form Manager to join a successful 6th Form Leadership Team. We are looking for a candidate who is professional, efficient, broad-minded, approachable and supportive to our students as they navigate 6th Form life and make decisions regarding their future beyond School. 

The successful candidate will be an organised individual who is part of the 6th Form Leadership Team and support the Head of 6th Form in developing an aspirational and high achieving culture. They will have very good administrative, verbal and writing skills, with the ability to adapt their style to convey relevant information accurately and effectively, a high degree of organisational ability; versatile, good at working under pressure and prioritising tasks, and able to cope with competing and changing demands and deadlines.  They will also possess excellent IT skills and a willingness/aptitude to develop these. Knowledge of Sims would be beneficial but again, not essential.

Previous 6th Form experience would be beneficial with a focus on pastoral welfare, attendance. academic progress, UCAS and the operation of a sixth form centre would be beneficial but not essential.

This is a full time, permanent position, 37 hours per week, term time only + 10 days, start date ASAP. The successful candidate will be expected to work from GCSE Exam Date until the end of August during the Summer Holidays. Salary will be within the HBHS Pay Scheme Band 7, £24,843 to £28,000 pro rata, with approximate salary £21,700 to £24,800 per annum. Actual salary to be confirmed at appointment, depending upon experience.
