Required: Practitioner / Key Person - Temporary

Our Nursery is looking for a temporary Key Person or Practitioner for our Nursery, from March until August 2023. This post is not term-time-only.  Experience of working within a childcare environment essential. Under the leadership of the Nursery Manager and Room Leader, you will be responsible for the care and education of our children. You should be confident and skilled in working with parents to ensure the children have a happy and stimulating experience. You will be able to use your own initiative but also be able to work as part of a team. Flexibility, reliability and enthusiasm essential.

Hours: 18-24 hours per week. Potential overtime available.

Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in childcare / early years / education desirable.  Consideration will be given to those with a NVQ Level 2 in childcare or expereinced at working in the early years (0-7 years).

Salary range: From £9.50 per hour, up to £9.84 per hour, according to qualifications and experience. From April, the pay will increase and will likely range from £10.42 to £10.79 per hour, though this will be confirmed nearer the time.

Up to 2 weeks paid sick leave per academic year.
