Science Technician

Hours per week: 37 hour per week, 39 weeks per year (Term Time plus 5 INSET days)

 The successful candidate will have an enthusiasm for science, a willingness to learn and have an understanding of safe working practice in the science department, and the determination to ensure that these practices are met.  A commitment to keep up-to-date with CLEAPSS and HSE guidance and to take part in necessary training will also be a requirement of the role.  The successful candidate will have a strong commitment and willingness to work with students to ensure they feel safe and supported in science lessons.


Maritime Academy, is a brand-new secondary school serving the community of Medway, which opened in September 2022. As a growing school we will be welcoming our next cohort of Students in September 2023 and are therefore seeking staff to join us on our ‘Voyage’ as we develop our Academy together.
