We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented teacher of Science (preferably Physics or Chemistry) to join our highly successful and dedicated team which has a record of supporting students to achieve excellent results year on year.

The successful applicant:

  • Will share our passion and be able to communicate this through innovative and diverse teaching methods.
  • Will be joining a science department that works closely with each other and has excellent technician support.
  • Will be expected to deliver the subjects across Key Stage 3 and Physics or Chemistry at KS4 and KS5.

 

The post represents an excellent opportunity for either an NQT or an inspirational classroom practitioner to develop their expertise.

CCGS moved from a diamond model to wholly mixed grammar school from September 2025 and is located in central Ramsgate. The school has a reputation for high standards of student behaviour, academic achievement and pastoral care and maintains an enviable programme of extra-curricular provision.
