We are seeking a qualified Teacher of Vocational Studies who specialises in Business and can adapt to the different qualifications on offer within the department. This opportunity incorporates Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 learning with a focus on BTEC delivery. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the subject, who will inspire our young people and be a valued addition to our well-established team.

The post can be either part time or full time, this will be discussed at interview and offers opportunities for continuous personal and professional development for a highly motivated and ambitious teacher looking for career advancement.  This is an exciting opportunity for a NQT or an experienced teacher.

The successful candidate will be a creative and inspiring Teacher of Vocational Studies who:

  • Will raise achievement and deliver excellent academic outcomes
  • Can model excellence in the classroom
  • Has the training skills and experience to make a significant impact on the quality of teaching and learning
  • Is able to evaluate and improve their impact and effectiveness
  • Will have Qualified Teacher Status
  • Will have the ability to teach across KS4 and KS5  confidently
  • Will possess recent, relevant teaching experience
