Valley Invicta Academies Trust requires a Full Time Teaching Assistant to join our team at Valley Invicta Primary School at Holborough Lakes. This role is to provide one to one support within our Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) which makes provision for children with autism, often alongside other complex needs.

This contract will be for 37 hours per week for 38 weeks per year.  This is a temporary role until 31 August 2023 pending a review of SRP pupil numbers.

The ideal candidate will be kind, caring and flexible, with a willingness to learn. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to form positive relationships with children, parents and staff. You will have empathy and resilience in supporting children with complex needs. You will work closely with our staff team and outside agencies to help pupils meet their targets and support them to feel happy and comfortable in school. This might include delivering agreed Speech and Language, Occupational Therapy or other programmes of support. Previous experience working with children with SEND or within an educational setting is beneficial.
