PE Mentor – Greenacre Academy

Salary: NJC Grade D2 points 4-11 - £16,760 - £19,025 per annum

Hours: 35 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, term time only

We are looking to recruit a new member of the mentoring team within the PE department. The successful candidate will support the effective implementation of the Trust’s learning and behaviour management strategies and liaise with colleagues, parents/carers and other agencies to overcome barriers to learning.  Knowledge of coaching/mentoring strategies will be an advantage and the ability to build rapport, engage and motivate others.  Having excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to remain calm and be patient with students, and excellent interpersonal skills with both adults and young people is essential within this role.
