We are seeking to appoint a friendly, flexible, professional person to work as Midday Supervisor at Kingsnorth Primary school.

The working hours will be 7.5 per week, between the hours of 11:30-13:00, Monday – Friday, term time only.

You will hold the vital role across the school as you supervise children both inside and outside of the school building. You will need to be able to work well under pressure and use your own initiative, be well organised and have the ability to prioritise your own workload and work to deadlines.  You will be required to work both independently and as part of a team, while maintaining a positive, caring and cheerful attitude is essential.

You will be part of a team of Midday Supervisors.

You will be required to undertake Safeguarding and First Aid training.

Working to ensure confidentiality at all times is a must in this role. 

Must be able to deal with a variety of people in a sensitive and diplomatic manner.

Kingsnorth CE Primary School is an exciting and vibrant place to learn and develop. We were judged as outstanding in our SIAMS. In our most recent OFSTED as a ‘Good School’.

We are also one of 34 English Hub school’s across the country. We are an active and leading school within Aquila (The Diocese of Canterbury Academies Trust - www.diocant-aquila.org). We work in strong partnership with other schools across Ashford, South Kent and beyond, providing support and learning opportunities for our staff.

We are a flag ship school for the Inclusion Quality Mark and are extending this by working with Nurture UK to further develop our provision as we understand that all behaviour is communication. We have recently been successful in being awarded the Leading Parent Partnership Award and the Wellbeing Award. We are also very proud of our Outdoor Learning/Forest school provision which we are incorporating with our OPaL (Outdoor Learning and Play) scheme.

We are situated next to the church in the heart of Kingsnorth village, south of Ashford. We are a large 2 form entry school with 420 children on roll. We have strong links with the local Church and Community. Our supportive Governing Body and active PFA play key roles in school life.
