27.5 hours per week which can be flexible to fit the needs of the successful candidate but worked within the hours of 8.00am and 4.30pm Monday - Friday.

We are excited to advertise this new position within our Alternative Curriculum Unit at the Secondary site and are looking for someone with the experience, expertise and ambition to join our team and contribute to our vision that “every moment, every day, every individual counts”!

 As a secondary TA supporting in the Alternative Curriculum Unit you will:

  • Have experience of working with children to support their learning;
  • Have an understanding of children with SEND issues and experience of working with them.
  • Have the ability to be flexible to the needs of the school
  • Have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Have a passion to enable every child to achieve their full potential and seek innovative ways of doing so, working in liaison with the Assistant Headteacher and Alternative Curriculum Lead to provide targeted interventions
  • Have excellent communication skills with a flexible attitude and effective time management skills
