Approximately 30 hours per week, all year round. Provisional hours are 7am - 10am and 3pm - 6pm, exact hours per week and timings to be agreed with the successful candidate. 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

We are looking for a responsible and committed Caretaker to join our St Margaret's Junior School family. Duties include security of school site, locking and unlocking the school, managing deliveries, organising and liaising with external contractors and ensure the school site is clean and well maintained.

It may be necessary for some evening and weekend work, however this will be done with prior agreement.

Renumeration for this role will be at Medway pay scale of D2 4-11 (18,426 - 21,166 FTE)

St Margaret's Church of England Junior School is a founding member of the Medway Anglican Schools Trust (MAST). It is situated in Rainham, Kent, close to the town centre in the midst of an established and thriving community. The school is one of the largest Junior schools in Kent and is over subscribed each year. The school has an exciting atmosphere which is created by our staff and pupils, where lively and enquiring minds are nurtured and children are engaged and enthused by our creative curriculum.
