General Support Assistant (TA)

Immediate start

Term time only, 27.5 hours per week.  Start Salary:  Grade 3, Point 11, £12,070 (FTE £19,293).

We are looking to appoint an individual who wants to work within the education sector supporting young people in their day to day lessons.  This is a great opportunity to gain an insight in to a Secondary educational setting and a stepping stone onto the qualified teacher status route.

Information about the school

NTC is a secondary modern 11-18 boys school with a mixed Sixth Form. Our state of the art school building ensures that NTC is at the centre of educational innovation and advancement.

Our students and staff benefit from a wonderful learning environment and the schools Technology roots ensures that we provide more advanced resources and facilities for Mathematics, Science, Computing and Engineering.

All positions that involve working with children in regulated activity are exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. All applicants must therefore declare all previous convictions and cautions, including those which would normally be considered ‘spent’ except those received for an offence committed in the United Kingdom if it has been filtered in accordance with the DBS filtering rules.
