We are looking for someone who can join us on our exciting journey and can bring along with them an unconditional love for young people, a passion for learning, innovative ideas and can thrive in an environment of high trust, high support and low control. We provide all staff with a professional development coach and are focussed as a team on ensuring we all continually develop through small research-based projects in the classroom. Workload is well balanced and the team report our school to be a wonderful place to be, where staff are cared for as much as the children.

This is a fixed term, full time position, but we would consider a minimum of a 0.6 contract for the right candidate. It is open to ECTs and experienced teachers. The ideal person would be able to demonstrate outstanding knowledge of either the KS1 or KS2 curriculum and have a high competency in teaching through a range of strategies and a proven awareness of up-to-date effective teaching practises. You must be passionate about making use of the grounds, the forest and the beach as part of the learning journey for children. Energy, a sense of humour, a great team spirit and a creative mindset are all must haves.

This really is an opportunity to grasp and join a flourishing school community with ambitious and supportive staff who want the best for the children and each other.  Take a look at our school website at www.stmarysfolkestone.com or have a look on our Facebook page or come and visit us to find out more.
