We are seeking a dynamic, innovative and inspirational full-time Subject Leader of A Level Business Studies and A Level Economics to join our highly successful, selective school, from September 2023. We would also consider two part-time applicants either job sharing the Subject Leader role, or with one acting as Subject Leader and the other as subject teacher.

The successful applicant must be passionate about their subject and have the drive to maintain superb academic results, in addition to developing a thriving extra-curricular programme; our student created Langtonomics publication a clear example of this.

We currently follow the EdExcel A Level courses for both Business Studies and Economics (specification A). Both subjects are popular in our sixth form.

Simon Langton Girls’ Grammar School is a highly respected selective Voluntary Controlled Girls’ Grammar School that places students’ academic success on a par with their wellbeing, creating a unique learning community where every individual matters. Students attending the school are aged between 11-18 years and the school has a student roll of about 1,300 students (with approx. 400 pupils in our mixed Sixth Form).
