Advert

We're going on a teacher hunt, we need to catch a good one.

Someone who cares....for a beautiful school.

Uh-oh Phonics, do you know your phonics?

You get the point right? We are looking for a fabulous teacher to join us in Year 1 and teach at our amazing school.

Do you want the opportuinty to be a part of something special, to make a difference and to not EVER be bored at work?

Are you organised, like a colour coded ninja who has a thing for organisational post it notes?

Are you caring, like a Care Bear or Miss Honey/Mr Honey?

Are you good at multi-tasking, like an octopus born with 12 legs instead of 8? (a Dodecapus?)

Are you passionate about being an amazing teacher, having your name etched in history, maybe even have towns named in your honour?

If you answered yes to all of these questions then you are the right person for Phoenix.

Phoenix Primary is built for our community, and the important role we play in that community is what drives us. We thrive on working closely with our families to help secure the best outcomes for our children. Nurtue and understanding are at the centre of our ethos and we value each child as an individual.

Get in touch and we would love to take you for a look round the school. Contact Mr Robichaud through the school office on 01233 622510 or email: headteacher@phoenix-primary.kent.sch.uk

ECTs are encouraged to apply as we have robust CPD to help you take your first few steps into the profession.

Information about the school

Phoenix Community Primary School is a one-form entry school situated on the outskirts of Ashford. We benefit from extensive grounds and a well set out modern building. The school is well-resourced and, as such, is able to provide opportunities for children significantly beyond that of the National Curriculum. The majority of visitors comment on the warm, friendly atmosphere and the attractive environment.

As a member of the CARE Foundation Trust, we work closely with nine other primary schools in our local area. The school places a high emphasis on the Creative Arts. We have our own Music Studio where all children have weekly lessons with specialist music teachers and where subsidised instrument lessons are offered to pupils.

The school invests heavily in ICT with three sets of 32 iPads, which are used on a daily basis, and each classroom is fitted with a Clever Touch interactive TV. Pupils also receive specialist sports and computing teaching and our school supports the emotional well-being of pupils with structured pastoral provision. At Phoenix, we pride ourselves in being a welcoming and safe environment for all of our community: pupils, parents, wider family, staff and visitors as well as a school that is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of its pupils.
