Breakfast Club 7.15am to 8.30am and After School Care 3pm to 5.30pm (18.75 hours per week)

Pro rata salary £8,230

Would you like to be involved in settling and making a difference to children as they begin their school day?  Would you like to care for our children at the end of the school day? Are you an organised and creative individual who enjoys working with children?  Then please consider the opportunity of becoming a Breakfast Club and/or After School Care Worker within our brand new wraparound care provision.  You will be part of a small team offering wraparound care to children from Reception to Year 6. The role will be varied and the possibilities many.

You will:

  • Help set out the games and equipment for the children
  • Help prepare and organise breakfast
  • Ensure the children are all signed in
  • Support children with any needs they may have and ensure a happy and settled start and end to their day
  • Be a team player and work well with others
  • Have a positive mindset and a caring nature
  • Have good time keeping

Information about the school

St John’s is a four-form entry primary academy located in Gravesend, serving the Parish of St John the Evangelist and the local area. It is part of the Kent Catholic Schools Partnership (KCSP), a multi-academy trust established by the Archdiocese of Southwark for Catholic education across Kent which currently comprises of 26 academies (21 primary and 5 secondary).

St John’s is an inclusive academy. Its dedicated staff, helpers and governance committee members work hard to ensure that every student is supported and challenged to be their very best. Each individual is encouraged to grow spiritually and intellectually, so that unique and positive contributions can be made to society and the world.
