Breakfast Club 7am to 8.30am and After School Care 3pm to 5.45pm (21.25 hours per week)

Pro rata salary £9,957

We are keen to offer wraparound care to our parents and carers for children from Reception to Year 6 and applications are therefore warmly invited for a Breakfast and After School Care Supervisor to run our new provision during term time, Monday to Friday.

You must be a motivated individual with the ability to encourage and support play for children during the morning and afternoon sessions. We are looking for someone who:

• Can create an environment in which play occurs naturally and is appropriate to the age and ability of the  children
• Can work as part of a team
• Can work under own initiative
• Has a positive commitment to personal development through training
• Can provide a caring and responsible service to parents and carers
• Can support the Catholic ethos of the school
• Is able to ensure a clean and safe environment for the children

Information about the school

St John’s is a four-form entry primary academy located in Gravesend, serving the Parish of St John the Evangelist and the local area. It is part of the Kent Catholic Schools Partnership (KCSP), a multi-academy trust established by the Archdiocese of Southwark for Catholic education across Kent which currently comprises of 26 academies (21 primary and 5 secondary).

St John’s is an inclusive academy. Its dedicated staff, helpers and governance committee members work hard to ensure that every student is supported and challenged to be their very best. Each individual is encouraged to grow spiritually and intellectually, so that unique and positive contributions can be made to society and the world.
