The position is for 1:1 support for a pupil with language and social communication needs. Provision will include individual language therapy work - planned in collaboration with the Inclusion Leader and in-class support during the day including support for social interaction and lunch times.  Good communication skills are key, as the role will require close liaison with class teachers and other class staff.

Experience and/or training in working with pupils with ASD is desirable.

The hours are 8.45am-12.45pm Monday - Friday.

The post is to start ASAP.

St Matthew's High Brooms Church of England Primary School, is a two-form entry Church of England primary school in a semi-urban area of Tunbridge Wells and Southborough. We have an extensive site and large outdoor areas.

At present there are approximately 360 children on roll. The school serves the community of High Brooms, St John's and Southborough.

We are a happy and lively school that places the children at the heart of everything that we do. Children benefit from many opportunities and take part in the excellent range of academic, physical and creative activities that we offer, both during and after school.

Our most recent Ofsted in July 2018 was graded good.
