Teaching Assistant – Greenacre Academy

NJC Grade D2 points 4-11 - £15,562 - £17,666 per annum

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term time only

Required: January 2023

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our established and expanding team, providing support to pupils, including those with special needs. The successful applicant will follow a programme of support clearly defined by the SENCo, and work alongside teaching and other appropriate staff dependent on the nature of the particular needs of the pupils.

Greenacre Academy is a single sex secondary boys school in Chatham and part of the Skills for Life Trust. The Trust have developed a set of core values for staff which are promoted, encouraged and led by our CEO, Mr Andy Reese. The Skills for Life Trust, is an established Multi Academy Trust (MAT) which comprises of two secondary academies and three primary academies: Greenacre Academy, Walderslade Girls’ School, Warren Wood Primary Academy, Hilltop Primary Academy and Chantry Community Academy.
