We are happy to offer this new position to enhance our Inclusion Team. We are looking for an experienced, supportive and creative candidate who has a minimum of two years’ experience of working with children preferably in an education setting. A strong track record of working alongside pupils and families to ensure that all children attend school regularly and have access to high-quality education. The Family Wellbeing Coordinator will offer support and offer guidance to families affected by personal or domestic issues. We are seeking a candidate who has drive and passion and a good understanding of child development and learning processes, someone who can build effective and professional working relationships with parents, staff, Governance Partners and the wider community and is a positive role model at all times.

This role will involve:

  • Establishing positive relationships with children and families and the ability to demonstrate engagement with key stakeholders and other agencies.
  • Identifying the early signs of social, emotional, health or behavioural issues.
  • Working alongside teachers, parents and children to support the children and have experience of setting clear and measurable targets to enable engagement and progress.
  • Preparing assessments and other relevant reports for the purpose of supporting families and leading meetings with all stakeholders including the Head Teacher and Inclusion Lead.
