Hours: Casual Contract (approximately 25 hours per week, term time only)

We are looking to recruit a new member of the mentoring team. This role is a casual contract for approximately 25 hours per week, term time only.  The successful candidate will support the effective implementation of the Trust’s behaviour management strategies and liaise with colleagues, parents/carers and other agencies to overcome behavioural barriers to learning.  Knowledge of coaching/mentoring strategies will be an advantage and the ability to build rapport, engage and motivate others.  Having excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to remain calm and be patient with students, and excellent interpersonal skills with both adults and young people is essential within this role.

The Skills for Life Trust, is an established Multi Academy Trust (MAT) which comprises of two secondary academies and three primary academies: Greenacre Academy, Walderslade Girls’ School, Warren Wood Primary Academy, Hilltop Primary Academy and Chantry Community Academy.
