We are looking for a new team member to join our dedicated, supportive and successful Claremont team.

1:1 Teaching Support Assistant (TSA)/ Intervention Teaching partner (TP)

Are you a teaching assistant already or have the skills to become one?

Do you have the skills to work with a pupil with Special Educational Needs to support their personalised learning and social development?

You will work under the direction of the class teacher and SENCo. This is varied role to support as a 1:1 and also to provide intervention work for small groups of children. The support staff team is supportive, welcoming and training will be provided as needed.


  • TSA 1:1

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday mornings from 08:45- 12:30pm


  • TP Group Intervention work:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday afternoons: group work 1:30-3:30pm

The role is Term Time Only (38 weeks per year), will be for 28 hours at Kent Range 3 (£19293 pro-rata). It is temporary until 31.08.2023 as the vacancy is linked to pupil funding in the first instance however, this post has the opportunity to extend past that time frame to support as the children move through the school.
