Job role: STUDENT SUPPORT ASSISTANT & OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Salary: FMAT Band C2 - £20,339.50 FTE, £19,093.00p.a. pro rata   

Hours:37 hours per week

Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 4.30pm, Friday – 8.00am – 4.00pm

1 hour unpaid lunchbreak on all days

Term Time plus 4 weeks

Contract Status:          Fixed term – 1 year

Contract Start Date:   ASAP

We are currently looking to recruit a Student Support Assistant and Office Administrator to provide support to a small group of students (3 days) and general administrative support (2 days) to the main school office. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a calm and flexible approach and the ability to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

You should be able to respond proactively to unexpected situations, and produce accurate and up-to-date records and reports as required, while maintaining a standard of sensitivity and objectivity in dealing with confidential issues.

We wish to recruit a candidate who has experience of working as part of a team but also someone who is able to take the initiative and be able to work independently at times.

Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and previous experience and knowledge of using a schools’ information management system such as Arbor would be an advantage but full training will be given.
