We are looking for a dynamic, friendly, calm and patient Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support.

The role involves working in close partnership with our Class Teachers and SENDCO with an aim to achieve the best outcomes for our pupils. You will need to have a sense of humour, a good imagination, creativity and a positive approach to problem solving.

The role is both challenging and rewarding and you will be working as part of a fantastic team who will all be supporting each other.

This post is for 30 hours per week, 8.45 a.m. - 3.15 p.m. (1/2 hour unpaid lunch break) Monday - Friday term time only.  This is a fixed term contract until August 2023.

We are looking for:

  • Someone who works well as part of a team, can take advice but also use their initiative when necessary.
  • A commitment to the highest standards of learning
  • Relevant and recent experience of working in a school.
  • An individual who is organised, efficient and flexible in their approach
  • A good level of English, maths (at least to Grade C GCSE) and a willingness to further develop and widen their own skills 
  • Proficiency in the use of ICT

The successful applicant will be required to supervise children at playtime and/or lunch time on a rota basis - an alternative break will be provided.

We work closely with our community, especially All Saints' Church, and have a PTFA which helps organise many events. PE and music specialists provide additional curriculum enrichment.
