Temple Hill Primary Academy are looking for a part time Year 6 Teacher to join a vibrant, hard-working, excellent team of teachers. You will be working Monday to Friday, 10 hours per week, 2 hours per day in the afternoons.  This is a fixed term appointment until 14 May 2023.

Temple Hill Primary Academy has nearly 900 pupils from Nursery to Year 6 with a Specialist Resource Provision for children with Speech & Language needs (SLCN). We also offer a short-term Nurture placement for children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.  29% of children have special needs and 40% of children receive Pupil Premium funding, we pride ourselves on the high quality provision we offer to all children especially those in vulnerable groups.

We received a Good Ofsted in June 2019, we are now striving to achieve Outstanding. We have a dedicated supportive work force on all levels and every staff member is valued at our school. We have excellent opportunities for growth within our school and the wider Trust, and staff members have grown from supporting classes to Assistant Head Teachers.

We are part of the Galaxy Trust and we work closely with the other schools in the Trust -Fleetdown Primary Academy, Oakfield Primary Academy and West Hill Primary Academy. With approx. 2800 pupils across the four schools there are a great number of opportunities for developing the best provision within the area.
