We have a great opportunity for a caring, personable and compassionate individual to join us in the role of Student Services Manager at Leigh Academy Rainham as soon as possible. This is a rewarding position within the pastoral remit of our College model acting to support the Head of College in their daily operational role.

Our successful candidate will be responsible for managing the college admin, attendance, safeguarding and general social, moral and spiritual well-being of the students across the college communities (in line with the Every Child Matters Agenda) through our Patrol systems. They will use the Academy Management Information System, Bromcom, to run reports for rewards, behaviour and attendance to ensure the Head of College is provided with key data on a weekly basis. Our appointed candidate will liaise with parents, carers and outside agencies as required, including responding to parental email queries, making phone calls and leading on face to face meetings, so strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. This is a very busy and fast-paced role and we urge candidates to look carefully at the job description to fully understand the nature of this role. We would love to hear from candidates who are keen to be part of our collaborative and supportive environment and are looking for a new rewarding challenge.

Our ideal candidate will also bring sound safeguarding knowledge and experience to this role, deputising to the Heads of College regarding safeguarding matters within and across colleges as part of the pastoral care provided.

This is a permanent opportunity working 37 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week inset with an actual salary of £24,065 per annum (£27,979 full time equivalent).
