Hartley Primary Academy have a fantastic opportunity to appoint enthusiastic and motivated Bank Staff to join our highly collaborative and supportive team. This role is pivotal to our success in the classroom and provides a great deal of support for our teachers, therefore our successful candidates will be able to establish strong working relationships with staff and students alike. The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a team, be reliable and excellent communicators. 

This is a great role for those seeking flexible working during Term Time only and who are keen to be part of a fantastic primary school! You will agree to the days that you are available, however, may be contacted for staff absence, school trips and particularly busy periods. This role is on a paid-on-claim timesheet basis, with the candidate required to start as soon as possible. Our appointed bank staff members will provide cover in the classroom, nursery, breakfast club and/or during lunchtimes.

Information about the trust

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2023, our Trust comprises 31 geographically organised academies (14 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating 20,000 students, and employing 3,000 talented staff. The Trust is establishing four ‘clusters’ of academies: North Kent; Central Kent; South East London; Medway. In addition, the Trust is responsible for one of the region’s biggest initial teaching training organisations, a large teaching school hub and is an accredited apprenticeship provider.
