As part of our continuing drive to innovate and support technology in education we are looking to appoint an approachable, knowledgeable and enthusiastic person to join our dedicated technical team.

The position will encompass a range of duties focused around providing proactive, efficient and friendly first line support to our sixteen hundred plus students and staff. A working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, Apple macOS, wired and wireless networking are considered key skills for this position although on-the-job training and opportunities to develop further knowledge and skills will be provided.

This position is 37 hours per week, working Monday-Thursday 8.00am-4.00pm & Friday 8.00am-3.30pm. This role is term time, or term time plus 5 days, depending on the candidate. Pay for this position is on HBHS Pay Scheme Band 4, £20,442-£21,550 pro rata making annual salary approximately £16,900-£17,900.

Herne Bay High School is a large hugely successful Single Academy Trust that serves the Herne Bay coastal area of North Kent.
