We are proud of our last OFSTED inspection February 2020 recognised that "staff have high expectations...with a no ceiling on what pupils can achieve".

The successful applicant will be employed, for 20 hours per week over the five school days. Please see the attached cover letter for details on how these hours are currently arranged. This is term time only. They will be paid on Kent Range 3 pro rata.  Appointment will be from Jan 2023. 

Experience of working with children 3 -11 in a school/educational setting is essential.

Information about the school

Sandling is a popular, high achieving, 2 form entry primary school in the north of Maidstone.

The school is well resourced with many facilities including: a library, computing suite and extensive grounds with a wildlife area. We offer a wide variety of clubs for children to enrich their learning.

We have designed a creative curriculum, which is regularly refreshed to reflect current topics and interests of the children.

We had a one day OFSTED inspection in Feb 2020 with a good outcome which confirmed our high expectations and standards.

With easy access from the M20, and being situated less than 3 miles from Maidstone centre, the school is easily accessible by road.
