We are looking to appoint a caring and creative Teaching Assistant to join our wonderful school team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a happy and supportive school with professional development opportunities both within our school and in the wider Academy Trust.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A caring Teaching Assistant who has the needs of our children and families firmly at the heart of what they do

  • A positive person who looks for new adventures for children and staff to explore
  • Experience of working within KS2 and of working with children with additional needs are desirable

Kennington CE Academy is 3 form entry (12 classes) for Key stage 2 of 360 pupils, situated in North Ashford and serving a mixed community of children who are enthusiastic about learning and their school.

We have strong relationships with our feeder Infant school, Downs View and The Towers, our nearest high school. Our church school status has led us to develop close links with the local parish church. We are sponsored by Aquila, the Diocese of Canterbury Academies Trust (www.aquilatrust.co.uk)
