We require a HLTA to join New Horizons Children’s Academy.  The successful candidate will provide support to pupils, individually or in groups, to enable them to access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement. They will work alongside class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils, promoting pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.   

 

We are a "Good" school (Ofsted May 22) with a three-form entry that teaches over 600 children from the local community. We have modern classrooms and facilities that will help the successful applicant teach an inspiring and creative curriculum to our students.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join our contemporary school and join our Trust. You will work with modern facilities and grasp the opportunity to influence and shape the vision of our Academy.

  • Understanding of the educational system and current developments
  • Ability to motivate and to support learning
