Headcorn Primary School is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our hard-working, fun-loving team as we near the completion of our transition into a two-form entry primary school.

The successful applicant will be someone who loves to inspire and support our children and is a willing team player. You should be a highly efficient, flexible and reliable person. 

This is an exciting role for those interested or experienced in working with primary-aged children. We provide development opportunities for all our staff. Previous successful experience as a teaching assistant is desirable.

The relevant NVQ2/3 qualification would be an advantage however we can also support those that wish to progress in their own personal development in this area.

We need someone who can work from 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday with half an hour lunch break. As part of the contract, an additional 19 hours will be paid for INSET days and/or twilight sessions across the year (dates will be given in advance).

£ 19,293 per annum (pro rata £ 14,484 approximately for part time) within grade Kent Range 3.

Our school is set in the growing village of Headcorn and has completed its transition into a two-form entry primary school.
