Salary- £19000 per annum actual salary

(£25,333 pa based on a 52-week salary)

Monday-Friday 8.30am-3.30pm (Term-Time only, 39 weeks)

 

We are looking for a motivated and pro-active individual with a passion for special needs to work as part of our Learning Support Assistant Team in our Induction Department which supports new students with their transition into the school. This role is demanding and challenging, but very rewarding. 

West Heath School, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, works towards helping students re-integrate into mainstream learning and preparation for adulthood.  All of our learners have EHCP’s and as a school we are proud to promote the development of life skills and social development as equal to academic achievement. 

The successful candidates will need use of their own vehicle, have a good level of Maths and English and a flexible approach to working as there may be occasions where student require support at external locations, such as therapeutic farms and colleges.
