  • An advocate of all students feeling valued, safe and happy?

Valley Park School (Maidstone, Kent) is both a very highly respected and over-subscribed school and we are able to offer an exciting opportunity for you to join us as Teacher of Art (with potential leadership opportunities) from January 2022. Valley Park School has recently been designated Good by Ofsted and so the right candidate will help to drive the department towards the school’s vision of academic and pastoral excellence. This is an opportunity to join a department that offers a range of specialist areas including Ceramics, Photography, Textiles, Graphic Communication and Art and Design. Valley Park values the Arts and we would welcome candidates to tour the school prior to application.

This is a role for a committed and motivated professional who would like to work in a school that provides a wealth of opportunities for both its students and staff. We have a strong ethos at Valley Park School and we are looking for a visionary team-worker who would fit into our established community.  This post is suitable for a newly qualified teacher, or an experienced teacher wishing to gain experience in middle management at an ambitious school with high standards; prior experience will be discussed further at interview.

Come and join our dedicated team of professionals who are always willing to support new staff in the best interests of our students. Our school continually evolves in our drive for excellence; we aspire to provide excellent academic results alongside excellent pastoral care. Collaboration with like-minded colleagues across our Multi-Academy Trust (VIAT) is also available to provide: networking, support, quality assurance and friendship. If you think you would thrive in this environment we want to meet you.

This post comes with potential further opportunities that can be discussed at interview.
