Thames Gateway Teaching School Hub, part of Leigh Academies Trust, has a truly exciting opportunity to appoint an experienced and reliable Administrator who will join us from January 2023. As Teaching School Hub we oversee training and development opportunities for schools across Medway, North Kent and beyond. Click here to meet the existing Thames Gateway Teaching School Hub team!

As Administrator, you will work with our Executive Support Officer to ensure that the hundred of teachers training with us every year are able to access the highest quality programmes. Our successful candidate will be responsible for administrative assistant with events and the delivery of the National Professional Qualification (NPQ). You’ll be arranging training sessions, ensuring delegates and facilitators have all they need and making sure that all our work meets the needs of our participants and their schools.

This is a fixed term opportunity until July 2024 and offers an actual salary of £16,584 - £17,422 per annum (£19,788 - £20,789 full time equivalent), commensurate with experience. Location will be based between Leigh Academy Rainham and our Head Office at Strood Academy, with some opportunity for hybrid working.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Interviews will take place on Tuesday 6th December. 

 

Information about the trust

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2023, our Trust comprises 31 geographically organised academies (14 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating 20,000 students, and employing 3,000 talented staff. The Trust is establishing four ‘clusters’ of academies: North Kent; Central Kent; South East London; Medway. In addition, the Trust is responsible for one of the region’s biggest initial teaching training organisations, a large teaching school hub and is an accredited apprenticeship provider.
