We are in a position to employ two HLTAs as Cover Supervisor teachers. We are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working and reliable individuals to join our friendly, caring and dedicated team. You will be able to competently lead a class, planning engaging, fun lessons and offering feedback to the children throughout.

Our first vacancy is predominantly focussed in Early Years, Year 1, and our second vacancy is open to someone who feels able to cover all classes in the primary age range.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

an ability to work within a team with patience, humour, initiative and flexibility
computer and technology competence
a calm and caring approach
a drive to learn new skills and relentlessly support the changing needs of their pupils
good skill level in English and Mathematics
experience of working at a whole class level is essential

Contract length – Permanent with a 3-month probation period

Salary – Kent Range 5-6 depending on relevant experience

Hours – 8.30am-3.45pm

The ideal candidate may be on a journey towards becoming a teacher or perhaps wishing to take that step back from a teaching role. They will have a relentless focus on achieving the highest standards and will have a strong commitment to the inclusive, Christian ethos of the school. Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
