Two shift system – 7.45am - 4.00pm / 10.00am - 6.15pm

Are you a self-motivated and passionate Early Years Practitioner, able to lead a team? 

Home Farm Nursery is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to provide a safe, caring and stimulating educational environment both indoors and outdoors.  We are located in the grounds of Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre in the beautiful Wealden town of Tenterden.  

The successful candidate will deliver an appropriate play-based curriculum in line with the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Ofsted registration and inspection criteria.

The successful candidate will enjoy working with children, is hard working with a sense of humour. Qualifications are essential.

Information about the school

Homewood School & Sixth Form Centre is a mixed 11 – 18 wide ability school with Academy status with 2000 students including 350 in the Sixth Form. We are part of Tenterden Schools’ Trust working in collaboration with local primary schools and nurseries serving the Wealden town of Tenterden and the surrounding villages. The school is situated on the edge of Tenterden and enjoys a large semi-rural site overlooking open countryside. Home Farm Nursery is based in the grounds of Homewood School.

Homewood has excellent facilities for all its students and our specialisms in Performing Arts, Applied Learning and the Rural Dimension underpin our approaches to learning which are designed to raise achievement across the whole student body. We aim to maintain and develop the cultural aspirations of the school community in line with our priorities of “belonging” and “respect” and offer a broad range of curriculum opportunities in all subject areas. This also extends into the local community through partnerships across primary, secondary and higher education sectors as well as non-educational community partners.
