An exciting opportunity has arisen at All Souls' CEP School to join our team as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, based in Year 1.

We are seeking a professional individual, who is confident in dealing with children's individual and specific needs, including intimate care needs.

We require an organised professional who has:

• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• High standard of English and Maths
• Level 2/3 in Teaching and Learning in School (or equivalent)
• The ability to liaise with staff, parents and professionals, offering support and challenge as appropriate.
• The ability to work using your own initiative at a highly professional level.
• A secure knowledge of safeguarding.
• A thorough understanding of differing needs and vulnerability of children. 
• A belief in inclusion, diversity and the right of each child to be successful whatever their needs, abilities and background.
• Ability to work as part of a hardworking, enthusiastic and committed team.

Salary will be paid at Aquila Pay Level B - Actual £9,945.19 (FTE £19,428.00)

Term Time Only Contract - Working Hours 22.5 hrs per week, 8:30am-1pm

Visits to the school are actively encouraged prior to shortlisting date. 

This position is a temporary contract, in the first instance, to August 2023. However, further funding should enable this to continue further.
