Administrative Support to SLT and Trips

 

Tunbridge Wells Girls’ Grammar School is looking to appoint an administrative support officer from January 2023 to support members of the Senior Leadership Team and carry out administration for trips and visits. The post is 27.5 hours per week, term time only, plus INSET days, (39 weeks per annum) - 0.6421 fte. Salary is Kent Range 5 (£20,595 - £21,693), pro-rata £13,224 - £13,929; detailed job description attached.

 

TWGGS is an 11 – 18 girls’ selective school of about a thousand pupils, where pupils are encouraged to be as active beyond the curriculum as they are within it.  Trips, visits and extra-curricular activities are unrivalled in the state sector, but, more importantly, it is an amazingly happy, positive community to be part of. The prospectus is on the school’s website which may be found at www.twggs.kent.sch.uk; the school prospectus and website will, we hope, give you a feel for the atmosphere and ethos of TWGGS.

 

We are looking for a candidate who is an effective administrator and communicator, well-organised and competent in the use of technology to aid administration. (Training can be provided on specific programs and software as required.) Enthusiastic and a strong team player, they will have the ability to work proactively and independently, to multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure.
