Cleaner Required – East Borough Primary School - September 2022

  • £5,361 pa pro rata to the VIAT Living Wage (£19,100) £9.90 ph.
  • 12.5 hrs per week – Monday – Friday
  • 3.30pm – 6.00pm term time and includes 5 staff development days

In addition to the hours and salary stated above, you will also be required to work 42 hrs during the holiday periods. 30 hrs (1 week of 6 hr days) in summer and the remaining 12 hrs to be agreed with the Cleaning Supervisor. These hours will also be paid at £9.90 per hour.

We are looking to recruit a friendly and reliable person to join our dedicated cleaning team as soon as possible. Duties include mopping, dusting, emptying bins, cleaning toilets, and any other general duties required.

Applicants must have an eye for detail. Previous cleaning experience, although preferred, is not essential as training and supervision will be provided.

Valley Invicta Primary School at East Borough is a two-form entry school for children aged 4 to 11, with a Specialist Resource Provision, in the heart of the local community.

The school’s spacious facilities sit in a large outdoor space, with a forest school, and well-equipped sports and play areas. There are many extra-curricular activities on offer and bespoke spaces for music and ICT.
