Hever Church of England is a wonderful school set in beautiful grounds. We are looking to recruit a friendly, enthusiastic and committed HLTA to join our team, who can support the principles of a church school and promote our core values of love, respect and wisdom.

We are looking for candidates with commitment, energy and drive to work closely with staff to provide positive learning experiences for all our pupils.

We expect the successful candidates to:

  • Be able to support in the delivery of high-quality learning experiences for all pupils.
  • Have high expectations of learning and behaviour and inspire and motivate our children;
  • Be supportive, nurturing and understanding with high expectations.
  • Seek to make learning exciting and a positive experience.
  • Communicate well with parents, carers and members of staff, as well as pupils.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills both orally and written.
  • Work well as part of a team;
  • Be able to cover classes throughout both Key Stages

Information about the school Hever is a one-form entry, Voluntary Aided church school situated in a beautiful village on the borders of Kent, Surrey and Sussex and two miles from the market town of Edenbridge. The school covers a wide catchment area of both rural and town environments.

We are a small school with high expectations. We pride ourselves on knowing our children and ensuring they reach their potential. The children benefit from beautiful grounds in a lovely setting, with a large sports field and forest school. The school is very well-supported by parents and Governors, and we have children who are well-motivated and keen to learn.
