Kick-start your career in education with this fantastic role as a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Apprenticeship for Goldwyn School in Folkestone.

This role is ideal for someone who is keen to develop as a receptionist within a School setting. We are seeking someone with enthusiasm and drive, the ability to work alongside and learn from colleagues, and a desire to release their potential within a structured learning and working environment. We offer a nurturing approach to learning with regular supervision so that you can be the best that you can be.

Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year).  Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm (includes half hour unpaid lunch break).  Time will be allocated during these working hours to complete learning from 3.00pm-4.30pm Monday to Friday

About the STLS:

The Specialist Teaching and Learning Service is based at Goldwyn Sixth Form in Ashford. The Team is comprised of Specialist Teachers with specialisms in Early Years, Cognition and Learning, Social Emotional & Mental Health, Communication and Interaction, Hearing Impairment and Visual Impairment. The Specialist Teaching and Learning Service aims to work with SENDCos and other professionals to provide high quality advice, support, information, training and outreach to mainstream pre-school settings, schools and parents through the LIFT (Local Inclusion Forum Team) referral process.


We work alongside pre-school settings, schools and other professionals in providing effective and co-ordinated support. Our aim is that children and young people with Special Educational Needs can have their learning, physical, social and emotional needs met, so that they can be fully included at school and make good educational progress.
