37 hours per week 8.30am – 4.30pm, Friday 4pm finish

Kent Range 4: £19,389 to £20,493 (pro rata £16,321 to £17,250)

Term Time Only (190 days)

We are seeking to appoint a friendly, efficient, school administrator/receptionist to act as first port of call for all visitors and callers. Minimum requirements are GCSE English and Maths C Grade or equivalent.

You will need to manage telephone enquiries and provide administration support to the school community, with specific responsibility for oversight of student records, maintaining the school’s Management Information System and supporting with admissions.

The sucessful candidate must have a meticulous eye for detail and be a proactive team member. They will need to have excellent listening, communication, organisational skills, as well as the ability to communicate with school visitors and staff at all levels.

The Abbey School is a mixed secondary school with a thriving population of over 1200 students. We believe that school should be a place where young people can discover and develop their own talents.
