We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and motivated After School Club Assistant for 15 hours per week, term time only, to be worked from 3.00pm - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.

The salary is paid at Kent Range 3, £19293.00 (£10.00 per hour) pro rata for part time. 

We would like you to have proven, successful, current experience of working with infant age children. You will need an ability to lead activities for groups and be able to respond to the needs of children, with support from other staff. Experience of working with a range of abilities and SEND pupils is also desirable. This should be clearly evidenced in your personal statement on your application. There will be a requirement for food preparation of both snacks and a hot main meal, so previous experience in a food environment would also be desirable.

You will need the minimum of a Level 3 Teaching and Learning qualification, or be working towards this, and be able to reflect our nurturing, positive and inclusive ethos. You must have English and Maths GCSE at grade C or above, or adult level 2 Literacy and Numeracy qualifications.  A food hygiene qualification is an advantage but training can be provided. 

Interviews will be held at the school. Tours of the school will be arranged as part of the interview process.
