We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Nursery Practitioner who will not only assist in the day-to-day duties within the Nursery but also have a flexible attitude. Outdoor learning and Children’s choice underpins the Ethos of our Setting.  Duties include all aspects of childcare in the Setting.  The successful candidate will have a good to excellent understanding of the EYFS and apply this to planning and teaching in the moment. Our focus is on visual observations of children with minimal written observations thus ensuring that most of your time is spent on playing and caring for children. You should be a driven individual with the confidence to care for children of varied abilities. The successful candidate will be confident, have a self- motivated attitude and show a willingness to help prepare for any activity. The successful candidate must be passionate about learning, hard -working and must adhere to policies and procedures.

To be considered for the position of Nursery Practitioner, you must hold a full and relevant Level 3 or above Childcare qualification, have a good knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted requirements.  You will be friendly, hard -working, have an interest in outdoor learning and teaching and have a positive can-do attitude.  
Whilst staff have set hours, hours may vary with the needs of the setting. We are open Monday to Friday, offering wrap around care. Our opening hours are 07:30 – 18:00, so flexibility is essential. However, some holiday care is provided depending on the childcare needs of the parents.

We are Ofsted registered and are members of the Pre-school Learning Alliance. Our aim is to provide children with both a social and academic education in a fun, happy and safe environment. We are a small setting with a home from home feel, where children can interact and build relationships with staff, other young children and older children who attend the Out of Schools clubs
