KS4/5 Coordinator of Social Sciences 

Required for January or April 2023

Are you an inventive and forward thinking teacher excited about the opportunity to share your passion for Social Science? We are looking for a candidate who is able to teach Psychology at KS5 alongside Religious Studies at KS3 and to deliver and manage the Key Stage 4 and 5 Social Sciences curriculum and qualifications offered. 

 The implementation and maintenance of the consistent, effective assessment of student progress is an essential element of this post.

Information about the school

Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre is a mixed 11 – 18 wide ability school with Academy status with 2000 students including 350 in the Sixth Form. We are part of Tenterden Schools’ Trust working in collaboration with local primary schools and nurseries serving the Wealden town of Tenterden and the surrounding villages. The school is situated on the edge of Tenterden and enjoys a large semi-rural site overlooking open countryside. Home Farm Nursery is based in the grounds of Homewood School.

Homewood has excellent facilities for all its students and our specialisms in Performing Arts, Applied Learning and the Rural Dimension underpin our approaches to learning which are designed to raise achievement across the whole student body.
