Dunton Green Primary School is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to start work in the school with individual children and small groups who may need additional support in the classroom. The job description has key aspects that we are looking for to further develop across the school.

We ask candidates to clearly identify in their applications their interest/specialism/experience against these aspects.

The position will be 5 days a week Monday - Friday 8:30am-3:20pm, 32.5 hours p/w term time only. 

The salary is KR3 £19,293 (£14,265 pro rata)

We are a friendly, one form entry school. Our TA will work to ensure the very best outcomes for all of our children. We can offer commitment to individual professional development as well as being a friendly, hardworking and committed team of teachers, support staff and leadership.

Full enhanced DBS check and references will be required and the successful applicant will need to complete a health check and also child protection and prevent training. Although the post is term time only, there is a requirement to attend a one day inset every September for statutory safeguarding training.

The school is situated in the village of Dunton Green and provides a wide range of extra curricular clubs and is at the heart of the community. We are a one form entry school. The school has 7 registration groups.
