Are you interested in sport? Are you determined to make a difference? Do you understand the importance of children reaching their full potential?

If you have answered YES to all these questions, then this could be the job for you!

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant, with a keen interest in sport, to work in our lovely village school.

This position is for 22 ½  hours, 5 days a week, with a start date of 1st November 2022, or as soon as possible.  Hours of work are 12pm- 4.30pm, term time only.  Actual salary £10,548.

This position will have you on your feet from day one! We are also looking for someone to enhance our sports curriculum, take a lead in unstructured time (lunch times) and set up and manage new sports teams. A keen interest to run your own after school clubs would also be key. We are also looking for someone who is able to support SENd provision through small support groups for sensory circuits and needs.

We are looking for someone who can further build on our current provision, widen participation across the school and promote healthy living.

Previous coaching or teaching assistant experience would be desirable but is not essential. A willingness to work in a team and a flexible approach is essential alongside initiative and the ability to take ideas forward.

This position is linked to schools sports funding.
